I love all things words! As a toddler, I was slow to speak but I have been making up for that ever since!
I wrote prolifically through the angst of high school, wrote a gazillion papers for university and then embarked on other ventures that consumed my attention.
Then I began to write for causes – for organizations and initiatives that helped people who couldn’t speak for themselves.
I spend much of my time writing SEO (search engine optimized) web content. As a web writer – I help small business entrepreneurs communicate with their clients online. I provide website content, blogging, article writing and print and web editing.
Through my years of experience in SEO web writing, I’ve discovered that web content development requires more than great writing. Web content development requires attention to on-page SEO, on-page elements and a content sharing strategy so you can be visible online. And so, along with writing content, I help clients think through where they want to be on the web (that’s social media) and how they want to engage with customers and prospects online.
I graduated from the University of Toronto in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. Then in 2003, I went back to school and for two very busy years I studied leadership. I graduated in 2005 with a Masters in Leadership in Business from Trinity Western University.
My large family propelled me to search for tools to help people untangle their words – to find a way to promote understanding between them. As a result, I enjoy giving workshops in communications and personal leadership. You can call or email me and let me know how I can help.
I am very interested in people and their stories. And I enjoy listening to them with a strong, black coffee in hand.
While most of my clients come from the Greater Toronto area – including Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton, I can work with clients just about anywhere because of the web, Skype, Dropbox and other excellent online tools!
